Is it Just him, or is it All Liberals?

Do you remember the Sound of Music? I'm sure everyone remembers the lyrics...."what do you do with a problem like Maria?" Well..... what do we do with a problem like a Liberal?

Once upon a time I met a guy online. At first, after a few friendly emails, he seemed nice .... and then one morning I woke up to my email box filled with liberal hate mail. "Hmmmm....", I thought, "I guess this won't work." I politely sent him a note informing him that we probably wouldn't get along, and wished him well on his quest to find whatever he was looking for.

Did it work? No. He wrote me back and told me that I got him mad. I didn't really care, I just wanted to be left alone and was silently thanking God that I hadn't told him where I lived or shared a phone number. Yes, I've met some strange people online. It totally amazes me how some people in this world get so utterly consumed by things, that they feel the need to ram it down people's throats thinking that their views are the 'only' views and we should all convert or be damned!

A few days later, more mail. Obviously he was ignoring my request to be removed from his list. hmmmm.

I ignored the mail. A week later, more mail, but this time picking on Glenn Beck and his Restoring Honor Rally. Gee, what's wrong with honor? Hatred for Glenn? Yes I know many people who think he's full of it, but I've learned so much about history from him, and when he began investigating the czars and uncovering so much corruption, I was amazed. So, I thought about the emails I had received, got upset and responded. But I didn't respond to just him. I responded to his entire list hoping that he would get really mad and remove me. What happened after that was a surprise!

I firmly believe that with every action there is a reaction. What I didn't expect was the wonderful mail I received from his friends and family. I love making new friends and it was a joy to receive such nice and supportive emails. Not surprisingly, I also received another angry email from "him". It really made me curious to know why Liberals are so angry all the time. I have many Liberal friends but we follow the old rules.....stay away from talking about politics and religion so we don't get into arguments. We're close friends. I have family members who are Liberal. Very Liberal. And we too, stay away from the heated conversations. I never got into politics that much, as I was too busy raising my son, working hard at my jobs and trying to make it in this crazy world. But....I'm happy. Or trying to be. Yes, I'm scared of the future, more so for my son than for myself at this point.

But why are they so angry? Why do they get their feathers ruffled if we dare to respond. I think the funniest thing is replying with facts and logic while they go off on name calling and blaming everybody else. haha! I laugh at the Mainstream Media who bashes and blames and shouts political incorrectness, or their old favorite.....the race card. If we're mad at all the spending.....we're racist. Hmmmm....what does one have to do with the other? If 60 percent of the country doesn't want a mosque.....we're being Islamaphobic. We get lied to about the health care bill, and yep, we're back to being racist. gee.... What Happened to America?

What has caused all this anger? What has caused all of "his" anger? What has caused all this divide? I've never seen so much division in this country. After living through the 60's and the racial tension, it seemed to subside. Now it's everywhere we turn. But it's so much worse. The division between the red vs. blue, black vs. white, Muslim vs. Christian, Illegals vs. everybody, rich vs. poor, Capitalism vs. Socialism/Communism and the list goes on and on. Now it's friend vs. friend. Hell, I know a couple that got divorced because they didn't agree politically. What? I've met some people who are already off the grid. Many have places to hide when the SHTF. What? Why? People are scared. They're losing the American dream and fear that there is no future anymore.

I'm no expert on politics. I was part of the sleeping Giant. I just wanted to survive and live. Just before the Presidential elections, I started reading and watching what everyone was saying. I'm no racist but I didn't feel that either candidate had the qualifications to run the land. After the elections, all hell broke loose! If we were on the Titanic before the elections, this administration will surely sink us!


And so we return to the person who keeps sending me email that I don't want or agree with. It seems that in the wee hours of the night when this person obviously can't sleep, he searches the internet for what I call screwed up news so he can send it to his 'list.' Sad that this person can't sleep. Obviously he's too angry to have peace of mind. And I often wonder why Liberal people have to call other people names so they can feel that they have the upper hand, and that we will all bow down and cower at the disgusting names. ha! Sticks and stones, baby! In the past 2 years I've been called so many names, that all I can do is laugh now. Someone close to me once said that I was on the 'dark side.' Dark side? gee. Why?

I have two eyes and two ears, and I see and hear what's happening......all on my own. I see a repeat of history. I see the children getting propagandized by the distortions written in the history books. I see the government pitting the rich against the poor. I have clients losing their small businesses because they are being taxed to death. I see regulations and more laws squeezing the living breath out of the core of this land. I see politicians getting richer while they push us into poverty. Why do we have to watch our carbon footprints while they fly all over the world, or build mansions that use more electricity than our yearly salary? hmmm? Billions of our dollars spreading lies and deceptions.

Divided we fall.


To the person who sends me the hate email, I wish he would go away. But the odds are that he won't. Apparently his anger outweighs any respect for me. His hatred of Conservative viewpoints urges him to follow the leaders who are laughing all the way to the bank, as they get richer off our tax dollars. (He is included too, but he hasn't figured that out yet.) The whole political spectrum is chaos and fraud. His idol, Michael Moore, has the nerve to curse Capitalism while he has made millions from his movies. His hatred of America, and his ideas to fix it, would bring us to our knees. Holy Hypocrite!

I believe in teaching a man how to fish in lieu of handing out all the freebies at our expense. Those freebies are merely for buying their votes, so they can sit back, do nothing and curse the people who have money and nice cars that they WORKED for. And they will be urged to vote for the people who keep handing out the freebies!

I could go on and on about all the chaos in the world, and I'm sure that I will in future rants. But to the guy who sends the emails, I won't call him names. I won't wish him any ill will. When time allows, I will respond to his ridiculous emails. He should know by now that he won't convert me, and if he thinks he'll have the last word, he won't. He'll continue on with his raging anger in his little world, while the rest of us pursue happiness. And believe me, Happiness is what life is all about.
